Remain safe at all times with these handy tips.

DO’S

Use high quality electrical appliances, certified by SIRIM.

Make sure all main power sources are off when you’re not at home or at the office for long periods of time.

DONT’S

Don’t use obsolete or broken electrical appliances.

Don’t use electrical appliances that have been exposed to water.

Don’t touch live wires.

Don’t expose wiring to heat, vapour or pressure.

Don’t install sockets near water source.

Don’t fix extra wiring yourself. Hire a qualified electrical contractor instead.

Don’t overload an extension cord with too many electrical equipment.

Don’t connect too many appliances to one power source.

Don’t stand near fallen electrical poles and power lines.
