The name of register account holder & the postal address
Each bill has a unique account number, which is printed here
The 12-digit customer account number where customer / information / data / payments / meter readings are kept and updated.
An Electricity contract agreement that is signed between the customer and TNB.
Security deposit paid by customer. Usually based on two months' consumption estimation.

Defined based on tariff category for your property. It differs based on consumption usage at the property (residential, commercial, industrial etc.).
The date of invoice generated in TNB Billing system.
Based on first and last date in a month. Number of days may vary depending on number of days in a month. (eg. July – 31 days, November – 30 days)

Your electricity bill is a valid tax invoice with tax invoice serial number
The box indicates two types of information THANK YOU for Paying Within 30 Days Or Outstanding Payment, REFER DISCONNECTION NOTICE BELOW
The bill also serves as a disconnection notice if you have an outstanding payment from previous bill. The disconnection notice is printed at the bottom of the bill
Customer is advised to make full bill payment as stated in the bill within the specified date stated in the bill to avoid supply disconnection.
Total bill amount to be paid after the rounding up is done which includes Outstanding charges, taxable items, late payment surcharge, credit/debit adjustment (if any)
Previous outstanding charges to be settled immediately. Kindly ignore if payment has been made.
Total charges as stated in item 19 including late payment surcharge, credit/debit adjustment, KWTBB.
Follows existing rounding up policy determined by the Government of Malaysia.
Amount of electricity consumed inclusive of outstanding charges, current charges and round up figure.
The last date to settle the bill amount to avoid late payment surcharge. Total outstanding amount must be paid immediately to avoid disruption of electricity supply to premise.

Total electricity consumption charges for the billing period excluding Late Payment Surcharge & Renewable Energy Fund (KWTBB)
1.6 % additional charge from the total electricity consumption charges for the billing period. This amount is transferred to Government or SEDA & No ICPT applies on it.
Total amount payable for the billing period inclusive Renewable Energy Fund (KWTBB) & Late Payment Surcharge
Consists of customer account number (12 digit), invoice number and total amount payable.
Customer name and address of the premise where the meter is located.
Look for the JomPAY logo and Biller Code on your bill, log in to your Internet or Mobile Banking, and pay according to your account number.

Jenis Bacaan / Reading Type
Your bill will state if your usage was based on an actual or an estimated reading of your meter.
Actual Reading : Your usage is based on reading taken at your property
Estimated Reading : Your meter was not read during this billing period. Estimated is based on average of last six months consumption (kWh). Reading is estimated if the actual reading is not able to be obtained due to unavoidable situations (eg. Property locked, meter block, natural disaster and etc). If the estimate is too high or too low, your next bill will include a credit or an additional amount to pay. This means you only pay for the electricity you use.
Consumption according to block as gazetted in tariff structure.
Tariff Block is prorated if the billing period is above 35 days. Prorated Factor will be multiplied with each tariff block. Customer will benefit lower rate for expanded consumption block range.
Rate imposed on each consumption block based on tariff structure for kWh / kW.
Result of rate multiplied with prorated block.
Total electricity consumption & charges for the billing period.
Meter serial number which records your consumption and used for billing purpose.
Each electric meter has a unique number, which enables TNB to bill appropriately.
